Jefferson Locke is partnering with a fast-growing SaaS business operating within the property and real estate sector to appoint a Commercial Account Manager.
This is a commercially focused account management role centred on developing and growing a portfolio of established clients. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, understand how their businesses operate and identify opportunities to deepen relationships, increase product adoption and grow account value.
This isn’t a traditional customer service role, nor is it pure new business sales. It sits in the middle. You’ll be responsible for building strong, commercially valuable client relationships and turning those relationships into long-term growth.
The opportunity
You’ll manage a portfolio of existing customers and develop relationships with senior decision-makers across a range of property and professional services organisations.
Your role will include:
- Managing and growing a portfolio of established client accounts
- Building relationships with senior commercial and operational stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to increase product adoption and account revenue
- Developing strategic account plans for key customers
- Running regular client meetings, business reviews and product demonstrations
- Understanding customer workflows, challenges and commercial priorities
- Identifying retention risks and proactively addressing them
- Working closely with sales, customer success, product and support teams
- Maintaining accurate account activity, pipeline and commercial data within the CRM
- Feeding customer insight and market intelligence back into the wider business

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The commercial function is currently receiving increased focus and investment, making this a good time to join the team and have a genuine impact.
Who we’re looking for
We’re interested in commercially strong Account Managers who understand how to build credible relationships, spot opportunities and grow existing customers.
You’re likely to have experience within one or more of the following:
- SaaS or technology
- Property or real estate
- Professional services
- Legal or legal technology
- Account management
- Business development
- Consultative sales
Experience within conveyancing, property transactions or legal technology would certainly be useful, but it is not essential.
What matters more is that you have strong commercial judgement, can understand relatively complex customers and are comfortable working with senior decision-makers.
Personality will also matter. We’re looking for someone who is engaging, curious and commercially switched on. Someone who asks good questions, builds trust quickly and can become a credible partner to their clients rather than simply managing a list of accounts.
The team
You’ll join an established commercial function and become the third dedicated Commercial Account Manager within the team.

It’s a collaborative environment with strong internal support across account management, product and client service.
Package
The anticipated base salary is £48,000–£52,000. There is also an OTE opportunity of approximately £35,000–£40,000 on top of base salary.
The role is based in London. For the first six months, you’ll be expected to spend the majority of your time in the office while you learn the business, products and customer base. Following that initial period, the normal working pattern will be three days in the office and two days working from home.
The wider benefits package includes private healthcare, annual leave, wellbeing support, flexible working initiatives and a range of employee benefits.
Why consider it?
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys the commercial side of account management and wants a role where they can have more influence over client growth.
You’ll be joining an established SaaS business with a strong customer base and a significant presence within its market.
Rather than simply servicing accounts, you’ll be expected to understand your customers properly, identify where further value can be created and help develop relationships that are commercially meaningful for both sides.
