Commercial Account Manager

Strategic Accounts | Critical Infrastructure | Rail | Drones | AI | Enterprise Technology

Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer
Salary: £70,000 Basic (£90,000 OTE)

About SkyBound

SkyBound delivers automated drone operations for critical national infrastructure, providing real-time aerial intelligence to support safety, security, and faster decision-making.

We combine software, AI, and remote operations, with systems managed from our Southampton-based 24/7 control center and deployed across the UK in some of the most complex airspaces to enable rapid response and continuous site awareness.

As we continue to scale, we're looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to grow our strategic customer portfolio and play a key role in expanding the adoption of autonomous drone operations across the UK's most critical industries.

The Role

This is a true commercial Account Management position.

You'll inherit a portfolio of established enterprise customers and take full ownership of the commercial relationship, identifying opportunities to expand SkyBound's services, increase account value, and drive long-term strategic partnerships.

Rather than winning new logos, your focus will be on growing existing accounts by uncovering new operational use cases, expanding deployments across additional sites and regions, introducing new AI capabilities, and securing long-term commercial agreements.

You'll work with senior decision makers across industries including Rail, Critical National Infrastructure, Utilities, Aviation, Defence, Highways, Ports, and Public Safety, helping customers realize the full value of autonomous drone technology.

Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, customer retention, and your ability to build trusted executive relationships that create long-term commercial opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
