Job Description Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans across a defined UK territory or customer portfolio to drive growth across a portfolio of UK healthcare accounts by developing strategic partnerships and identifying new business opportunities within the Patient Care Solutions (PCS) portfolio.
Working closely with commercial, clinical and technical teams, the role leads account planning, pipeline development and customer engagement to deliver revenue growth, expand the installed base and improve customer outcomes. As the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts, the Account Manager builds relationships across clinical, operational, procurement and executive stakeholders, positioning GE HealthCare as a trusted long-term partner.
This is a customer-facing, field-based role requiring strong commercial acumen, collaboration, and disciplined use of CRM and sales management processes to deliver sustainable business performance.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive growth across assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical, procurement, operational and executive stakeholders.
- Identify, qualify and progress sales opportunities across the Patient Care Solutions portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and maximise win rates.
- Support tender submissions, procurement activities and contract implementation.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM records using Heartbeat and SFDC.
- Spend significant time in the field, engaging directly with customers and identifying opportunities for growth.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven success in medical device, healthcare technology, healthcare services or related commercial roles.
- Experience working with NHS and healthcare organisations in the UK.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve commercial targets and manage complex sales opportunities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.
Desired Skills
- Experience managing strategic healthcare accounts.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, critical care, peri-operative care, maternal infant care or related healthcare solutions.
- Understanding of NHS procurement processes and value-based selling methodologies.
