Commercial Account Manager - Your customers are already there. Your job is to help them grow.

Office Angels are delighted to be partnering with a highly respected global business to recruit a Commercial Account Manager to join their established commercial team.
This isn't a cold-calling sales role. You'll inherit an established portfolio of customers, becoming their trusted point of contact while helping them maximise value, strengthen partnerships and identify opportunities to grow existing business. Working closely with technical, operations and customer support teams, you'll deliver an exceptional customer experience while contributing to the continued success of the business.
What's in it for you?
- Circa £30,000, depending on experience
- Quarterly Performance Bonus: between 10% and 40%
- 36-hour working week
- Monday to Thursday: 12:20pm - 8:00pm
- Friday: 12:20pm - 6:00pm
- Hybrid working (Mondays and Fridays from home once fully trained)

The Team
You'll be joining a genuinely supportive and collaborative commercial team that we know well because we've partnered with this business to recruit a number of its employees as it has continued to grow. The team is led by an experienced Head of Sales and includes Business Development Managers out in the field alongside an established team of Account Managers. Everyone works closely together, sharing knowledge, supporting one another and working towards common goals. This particular role is dedicated to supporting the US market, which is why the working hours are later in the day.

The Opportunity
This is a consultative, relationship-led role where you'll take ownership of an established portfolio of customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an established portfolio of existing customer accounts.
- Build trusted, long-term customer relationships.
- Act as the primary point of contact for your customers.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
- Develop account plans to maximise customer retention and long-term value.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and tender submissions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Provide product guidance, working alongside specialist technical colleagues where required.
- Collaborate with technical, operations and customer support teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
- Monitor account performance, analyse trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
About You
- You'll ideally have experience in Commercial Account Management, Account Management, Internal Sales, Customer Success, Business Development and/or Client Relationship Management
- Experience managing and developing existing customer accounts.
- A consultative, relationship-led approach to sales.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities.
- Experience managing a CRM system and sales pipeline.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Dynamics CRM experience would be advantageous).
