Job Description

As a Commercial Account Manager, Regional Accounts at Dow Jones Energy, your primary role is to protect and grow revenue within a designated portfolio of high-value, strategically critical accounts. You are a senior relationship builder and growth strategist, focused on maximizing long-term customer lifetime value, securing large renewals, and executing strategic cross-sell/upsell initiatives across complex corporate structures.

About the Team

Our division delivers trusted price transparency, benchmarks, analytics, news, and insights across the global energy, chemicals, metals, and fuel supply value chains. Our offerings support commercial trading desks, optimization analysts, and supply chain executives navigating spot, wholesale, and retail markets, as well as emerging segments tied to the global energy transition.

Through authoritative data, real-time intelligence, and deep market expertise, we enable energy professionals to mitigate risk and make high-stakes commercial decisions in volatile, fast-evolving global markets.

You Will

  • Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute multi-year account roadmaps for top-tier regional accounts, mapping out corporate hierarchies, key subsidiaries, and internal procurement alignment.
  • Executive Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain deep, trusted relationships with C-suite executives, senior procurement directors, and global heads of trading or market risk.
  • Enterprise Growth & Expansion: Drive aggressive white space expansion by introducing DJE’s comprehensive suite of products to new departments, business units, and international regions within the account.
  • Proactive Retention & Risk Mitigation: Own the global renewal process for your portfolio, continuously tracking platform usage, monitoring customer health metrics, and neutralizing competitive threats.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the primary internal quarterback, coordinating with SMEs, research analysts, and product specialists to deliver bespoke enterprise solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
