Denholm Port Services: Commercial Administrative Assistant
Denholm Port Services is looking for a Commercial Administrative Assistant to join our Head Office team in Grangemouth. You will play a key role in supporting our Managing Director and Senior Management Team while helping colleagues across the business deliver an efficient, professional service.
About You
You will be someone who is organised, proactive, enjoys variety and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. Communicates clearly and can be trusted to handle important information with care. Comfortable switching between routine tasks and changing priorities, you will bring energy, sound judgement and a collaborative approach to the team.

- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities
- Support senior leaders: provide trusted day-to-day administration for the Managing Director and Senior Management Team, including expenses and executive and commercial reporting.
- Keep plans moving: coordinate travel, accommodation and attendance at trade exhibitions.
- Produce high-quality materials: prepare and distribute Board papers, reports, presentations and client proposals.
- Own accurate business information: maintain the CRM system and company registers, including vehicle and lease records.
- Be a professional first point of contact: respond to group, divisional and prospective client enquiries.
- Social Media communications: help maintain the company’s LinkedIn presence and create regular internal e-publications.
- Keep the office well organised: manage supplies of stationery, workwear, business cards and ID passes.
- Contribute across the business: handle varied administrative tasks, follow company systems and policies, and respond appropriately to health and safety concerns.
