Commercial Administrator

CB Contracts, part of Bell, is looking for an organised and detail-oriented Commercial Administrator to join our team in Belfast on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous administration experience who enjoys working with figures, maintaining accurate records and supporting a busy commercial team.

Previous experience within the construction, building materials, contracting or property services sector would be an advantage, although it is not essential. We are looking for someone with strong organisational skills, good numerical ability and a proactive approach to their work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to the Commercial Team.
  • Preparing and maintaining spreadsheets, reports and commercial documentation.
  • Creating and issuing purchase orders.
  • Processing subcontractor invoices and maintaining accurate payment records.
  • Assisting with valuations, cost reports and financial information.
  • Tracking invoices, monitoring project costs and highlighting discrepancies.
  • Maintaining records of client instructions, variations and project documentation.
  • Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors and colleagues to obtain and verify information.
  • Supporting bid and tender preparation.
  • Maintaining accurate filing systems and ensuring records are kept up to date.
  • Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of commercial operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
