The Street Scene Service represents a newly modernised, investment-led approach to maintaining high environmental standards across the Vale of Glamorgan. The service delivers a proactive and responsive approach to environmental management, ensuring that public spaces are clean, safe, and well maintained for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

About The Role

Pay Details: Grade 4 – SCP 5 – 7 (£25,989 - £26,403) p.a

Hours of Work: 37 hours p/w

Main Place of Work: Alps Depot in Wenvoe

Description

Responsible for undertaking the administration within the department.

About You

You will Need:

  • A minimum of one-year general administrative services experience.
  • Experience of a wide range of software packages to deliver neighbourhood services.
  • Experience of dealing with administration relating to the provision of commercial services.
  • Knowledge of Neighbourhood Services provided by the area.
  • Knowledge of good practices in providing customer care services.
  • Knowledge of Financial procedures in dealing with payments.
  • Computer literate with proven ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programmes.
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good people skills.
  • Proactive approach.
  • GCSE A – C / “O” Level or Equivalent or 2 years relevant experience working in Local Government.
  • Enthusiastic and can demonstrate initiative.
  • Capable of working in a multi-disciplined area.
  • Team player
