Role Title: Commercial Administrator

Location: Essex, RM16 6RL
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Benefits: Auto Enrolment Pension; £25,000 Life Assurance; Westfield Health Care

About the Role:

The Commercial Administrator is a newly created role to support Blackwell Earthmoving's Lower Thames Crossing project team to perform a variety of administrative tasks including providing support to our managers and wider team, assisting in daily office needs managing our projects general administrative activities. The role will be based full-time in our Lower Thames Crossing office based in Pilgrims Lane.

In so doing, the postholder will be influential in achieving the Company’s mission statement in accordance with the Company’s values which are:

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Downloading and Processing of Allocation Sheets into the Commercial Data System
  • Checking of Allocation Sheets and returning for amendments to Site Team
  • Saving late or changed Allocation Sheets and updating the Commercial Data System to match
  • Produce weekly operator timesheets for Project Director's approval
  • Distribute timesheets to agencies and handle queries
  • Checking of Commercial Data for errors
  • Inputting of Blackwell Operator hours on to the Time Management System
  • Checking and correcting of the Time Management System
  • Data inputting in weekly/monthly trackers
  • Liaison with the project team to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Miscellaneous administration and support tasks when required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or working in an office environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
