Commercial Administrator - Commercial & Business Development
Permanent
Up to £29,000
Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Hybrid – at least 3 days at The Cube, London East-UK (Dagenham)
ROLE PURPOSE
The Commercial Administrator will provide effective and accurate administrative support to the Commercial team, supporting the delivery of housing services, repairs and maintenance, facilities, and related contracted services. The role will be responsible for raising purchase orders, processing commercial quotes, supporting subcontractor payment and application processes, maintaining accurate commercial records, and assisting with general contract administration. The postholder will play an important role in ensuring that commercial processes are well controlled, timely, accurate and compliant with internal governance, finance and procurement requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a housing, repairs, maintenance, facilities management, construction or public sector service environment, with a strong understanding of purchase order processes, finance systems, supplier administration and commercial documentation.

The Commercial Administrator will operate in a busy housing services environment, supporting the commercial control of repairs, maintenance, facilities and subcontracted works. The role will provide essential administrative support to ensure that purchase orders, supplier quotes, subcontractor applications, invoices and commercial records are processed accurately, efficiently and in line with financial governance requirements.
