Commercial Agency Surveyor
Location: Surrey
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus
Beach Baker is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing property consultancy to recruit a Commercial Surveyor / Commercial Agent for its Surrey office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team and work across a diverse range of commercial property instructions, including agency, landlord & tenant, investment and development property. The role offers excellent exposure to clients and transactions, along with genuine opportunities for career progression within a growing business.
Whether you're recently qualified, working towards your APC, or looking to further develop your commercial property experience, this position provides the chance to broaden your skillset and take on greater responsibility within a supportive and entrepreneurial environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work across a varied commercial property portfolio, advising landlords, occupiers, investors and developers throughout the South East.
- Involved in acquisitions, disposals and lettings
- Exposure to landlord & tenant matters including lease renewals and rent review negotiations
- Direct client contact, responsibility for managing instructions and delivering successful property transactions

What You'll Be Doing
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals and lettings of commercial property
- Managing agency instructions from initial instruction through to completion
- Undertaking property inspections, viewings and market appraisals
- Negotiating heads of terms and progressing transactions
- Supporting landlord & tenant matters, including lease renewals and rent reviews
- Preparing reports, recommendations and market insights for clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting with business development and networking activities

What They're Looking For
- Experience within commercial property, ideally within agency, landlord & tenant or general practice surveying
- MRICS qualified, recently qualified, or currently working towards APC qualification
- Strong communication, negotiation and client relationship skills
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to business development
- Professional, motivated and ambitious individual seeking long-term career progression
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
