Join us as a Commercial Analysis Manager
This is a key role that offers considerable exposure as well as the opportunity to make a significant impact to the function. You’ll be joining a newly established team focused on strengthening the commercial analysis of our Savings portfolio. You’ll be sourcing and providing meaningful analysis of our commercial data to support effective commercial business planning, tracking, reporting, monitoring and course correcting. You’ll have the chance to engage with a range of stakeholders across the function and the wider business, allowing excellent exposure for you and your work.
What you'll do
The team is responsible for shaping and delivering the commercial performance plan for Savings. As our Commercial Analysis Manager, you’ll support forecasting, pricing and strategic decision-making by developing robust business cases and identifying emerging opportunities and risks.
You’ll be sourcing enhanced MI and deep insights to drive commercial opportunities in the business area. You’ll also be influencing, managing and optimising the delivery of effective MI, making sure the financial performance is understood across the business.

In addition, you’ll be:
- Helping to collate and review key distribution metrics, providing meaningful analysis of performance across the business area and engaging with key partners
- Collecting commercial data from the relevant teams to provide business level reporting
- Reviewing market share data and delivering analysis, as well as overseeing exception reporting and insights
- Preparing submissions and data and analysis for key stakeholder briefings
- Providing key dashboards that show our commercial performance
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with experience of delivering commercial insight, analysis and reporting. You’ll have a comprehensive understanding of the financial services industry, together with excellent commercial, analytical and financial acumen. We welcome candidates with a range of complementary skills and experience, including commercial performance, finance, pricing or data analysis.

As well as this, you’ll need:
- A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and influence stakeholders
- Strategic thinking, with the ability to simplify complex and conflicting commercial priorities, making sure that these are effectively managed and communicated
- A proven ability to investigate large, complex data sets to identify anomalies, trends, and root causes
- Operational and financial planning experience
- Experience of relevant legal policies, regulatory and statutory obligations and risk management as they impact on commercial plans
- The ability to drive executional excellence, in an environment of ambiguity and change
