Commercial Analyst | Reading | Up to £55,000

We are seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Analyst to join a growing organisation in the Reading area.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial modelling, commercial analysis, and supporting business decision making. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an analytical, Excel-driven environment and enjoys working closely with stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Excel-based models to support planning and decision making
  • Deliver scenario and sensitivity analysis to assess commercial risks and opportunities
  • Support pricing, bids, and business cases with clear financial insights
  • Review and validate data inputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable outputs
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and commercial teams
  • Continuously improve modelling processes and outputs

Skills and Attributes Required:

  • Strong experience in a commercial or analyst role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills, with the ability to present to non-financial stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proactive, adaptable, and self-motivated
