The Role
A client in the consumer goods and retail industry is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join the team for 12 months.
You will work within a central procurement function, supporting senior procurement leadership to drive procurement excellence through data, technology, and insights. The role will focus on improving adoption of procurement tools, identifying opportunities for value creation, and supporting digital transformation initiatives across a diverse portfolio of businesses.
Responsibilities
- Produce reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights from procurement and business data.
- Act as a key user for procurement technology platforms and support system adoption across the organisation.
- Support procurement improvement projects focused on cost optimisation, operational efficiency, and process enhancement.
- Assist with digital transformation initiatives, including analytics, automation, AI, and e-sourcing projects.

Requirements
- Recent graduate or early-career professional with up to three years of experience in analytics, finance, technology, or business improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in data, technology, and reporting.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; experience with Power BI or other data visualisation tools is advantageous.

Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 12 months
- Salary: £36,000 per annum
- Location: 3 days a week in Central London Office, occasional travel to Peterborough
