Overview
The Commercial Analytics Manager is responsible for providing business intelligence, performance analysis and strategic reporting across the Group. The role supports decision-making by transforming complex operational, financial, revenue and guest data into meaningful insights that drive commercial performance and business growth.

The role works closely with Revenue Management, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing and People & Culture teams to analyse trends, identify opportunities and risks, and support strategic planning. The position is responsible for developing and maintaining reporting frameworks, forecasting models, performance dashboards and executive-level business reviews.
The Commercial Analytics Manager acts as the central source of business intelligence for the Group, ensuring leadership teams have accurate, timely and actionable information to support operational and commercial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly business performance reports.
- Analyse revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and market share performance.
- Monitor commercial KPIs across all hotels and departments.
- Provide executive-level reporting and performance summaries.
- Develop and maintain business performance dashboards.
- Work closely with Revenue Management teams to analyse booking pace, demand trends and forecasting accuracy.
- Monitor business-on-the-books performance and future demand patterns.
- Analyse segmentation, channel performance and market trends.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Identify revenue opportunities and areas of commercial risk.
- Partner with Finance teams to review financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Analyse departmental profitability and cost performance.
- Monitor payroll, labour productivity and operational efficiencies.
- Provide variance analysis and financial performance commentary.
- Support business cases and investment evaluations.
- Analyse guest satisfaction scores, online reviews and feedback platforms.
- Monitor Net Promoter Score (NPS), Guest Satisfaction and other feedback systems.
- Identify trends impacting guest experience and reputation.
- Produce actionable reports for operational teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis.
- Monitor competitor performance and market trends.
- Analyse STR reports and benchmarking data.
- Evaluate industry trends and emerging opportunities.
- Support strategic positioning and pricing decisions.
- Support annual budget preparation and business planning processes.
- Assist with long-term forecasting and scenario modelling.
- Develop performance targets and KPI frameworks.
- Track progress against strategic objectives.
- Provide recommendations to improve commercial performance.
- Develop automated reporting solutions where possible.
- Ensure consistency and integrity of business data.
- Maintain reporting standards and governance.
- Support system integrations and reporting enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement in analytics capability.
- Work closely with Head of Hotels, Revenue Management, Finance, Operations, Marketing, Sales and People & Culture teams.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support Executive Team meetings through preparation of performance reports and business insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor on business performance and commercial opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience within Front Office operations, ideally within a luxury or upscale hotel
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in hotel analytics, finance, revenue management or business intelligence.
- Strong understanding of hospitality financial and commercial metrics.
- Advanced Excel skills essential.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar reporting tools highly desirable.
- Experience working with PMS, CRS, STR, Marriott reporting systems and financial reporting platforms preferred.
- Strong analytical and statistical skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Working Condition
- Full-time role supporting all Montcalm Collection properties.
- Based between Head Office and hotel locations as required.
- Regular interaction with Executive Leadership, Revenue Management, Finance and Operations teams.
- Participation in budget reviews, forecasting meetings and business planning sessions.
