Are you a commercially driven finance leader who wants to play a key role in shaping the growth and direction of a successful, entrepreneurial business?
We're working with a fast-growing organisation looking to appoint a Commercial and Finance Director to join its senior leadership team.
This is a broad, high-impact position combining commercial strategy, financial leadership, and business performance. You'll work closely with the CEO and leadership team, providing the insight, challenge, and financial direction needed to support the next stage of growth.
The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of the finance function while also acting as a key commercial partner to the wider business.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading the finance function and providing strong financial leadership
- Partnering with the CEO and senior leadership team on strategic decisions
- Owning budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business planning
- Driving commercial performance, profitability, and cash generation
- Developing meaningful KPIs and management reporting
- Providing insight into revenue, margins, costs, and overall business performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Supporting investment decisions, growth opportunities, and new projects
- Building robust financial models and business cases
- Strengthening financial controls, processes, and reporting
- Taking ownership of cash flow and working-capital management
- Developing and mentoring the finance team
- Ensuring finance is a proactive business partner rather than simply a reporting function

Candidate Profile
We're looking for someone who is hungry, ambitious, proactive, and commercially curious.

- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified
- An experienced Finance Director / Head of Finance / senior commercial finance professional
- Strong across both financial and commercial management
- Comfortable partnering with CEOs and senior stakeholders
- Highly analytical with strong financial modelling skills
- Commercially astute and confident challenging the status quo
- Hands-on and willing to get into the detail
- An excellent communicator who can turn numbers into clear commercial decisions
- Highly organised with a strong eye for detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Most importantly, you'll be someone who doesn't simply report what happened: you understand why it happened, what it means commercially, and what the business should do next.
