Commercial Associate

We’re hiring Commercial Associates to help us win some of the most exciting accounts in financial services. You’ll work closely with our commercial and founding teams on everything from opening doors to shaping deal strategy and bringing the product to life. If you want to learn fast, take responsibility and help build a company, read on.

This isn’t an SDR or BDR role. You’ll be involved beyond the first meeting, helping shape deals and build customer relationships. As your product knowledge and commercial judgement develop, you’ll increasingly take on your own accounts, lead customer conversations and own how those opportunities move forward, with the team’s support.

About spektr

Compliance, built like product.

Financial services has changed enormously. Much of the technology behind compliance hasn’t. Teams still spend hours on manual checks, disconnected systems slow down launches, and entering a new market can mean rebuilding the same processes all over again.

We’re changing that. spektr gives regulated businesses one platform for onboarding, monitoring and investigations, with configurable workflows and AI agents that do the legwork. Product, Operations and Compliance can move together, with the control they need to grow.

It’s a huge opportunity in an industry that has moved slowly for too long. We’ve built a product we’re proud to put in front of the most demanding customers. Now we’re looking for people who want to help get it into their hands.

A few things about us

  • $26M raised, including a $20M Series A led by NEA, with backing from Northzone, Seedcamp and PreSeed Ventures.
  • Founders who have done this before. Mikkel and Cip built HelloFlow together and sold it to Trulioo in 2022. They’re now building spektr alongside co-founders Jan-Erik and Jeremy, taking on a much bigger part of the customer lifecycle.
  • Customers worth getting excited about. We work with businesses including Pleo, Trustly, Nexi and Santander. These are large accounts with complex problems, ambitious teams and plenty of room for us to make a difference.
  • Three offices: Copenhagen, London and Iași, with customers across more than 15 countries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll do

  • Research priority accounts, understand their business and work out who we should speak to, what matters to them and why spektr is relevant.
  • Help shape account plans and deal strategies, turning research into a compelling story for senior decision-makers.
  • Find creative ways to start conversations, from personal videos and custom comics to calls, introductions and events. Use what works and keep following up.
  • Create tailored demos, presentations, videos and other materials that show prospects what spektr could do for them.
  • Work on live opportunities, from preparing customer meetings to developing proposals and answering questions about the platform, increasingly taking ownership of your own accounts as you develop.
  • Work across the company to bring good ideas to life and help shape how we go to market as we grow.

How we work

  • You won’t be stuck in a call booth making cold calls all day. We reach out with whatever works, and we pride ourselves on being one of the most creative outreach teams around.
  • Nobody likes generic outreach. We send custom comics, make videos around a prospect’s business and bring people together at events. Sometimes a thoughtful email or a phone call is exactly what’s needed. You’ll have the freedom to work out what will resonate, try it and keep finding ways to start a conversation.
  • The whole company gets behind you. Growth, marketing, product, engineering and the founders all get involved. Bring a good idea and you’ll find people who want to help make it happen.

  • Open to feedback, willing to get stuck in and excited by a role that will develop as you do.
  • You might come from consulting, banking, sales or a startup, or have built something of your own. We’re interested in what you’ve taken responsibility for, how you think and how quickly you learn. Prior compliance experience isn’t a requirement.

Why join

  • Have room to be creative. Help shape our approach, try ideas and get support from people across the company.
  • Build towards owning your own accounts. Take increasing responsibility for account strategy, customer relationships and moving deals forward. You’ll have support as you grow towards an AE role, with ownership earned through what you demonstrate.
  • Be recognised for your contribution. Commercial Associates have no individual quota. We look at the quality of your work, what you learn and how you help opportunities progress.
