About us
Clerkenwell Health is a specialist clinical research organisation operating at the forefront of CNS and psychedelic medicine. We partner with innovative biotech and pharmaceutical companies developing treatments for depression, PTSD, anxiety, and addiction, providing high-quality clinical trials.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Commercial Associate to join our commercial team and work directly with our Sales Director in a rare graduate opportunity with genuine responsibility and career progression.
The role
This is not a typical graduate role. You’ll be joining a lean, high-impact commercial function where you’ll gain hands-on exposure to business development, sales operations, CRM management, marketing coordination, and commercial strategy from day one.
Working closely with senior leadership, external agencies, and AI-powered tools, you’ll help drive the commercial engine of the business. You’ll see how opportunities are won, proposals are developed, and commercial decisions are made - and you’ll play an active role in making it happen.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
