The Role

Senior Account Handler joining an expanding corporate team in Glasgow, working across sectors including Construction, Manufacturing, Hospitality & Leisure, and Care. Working alongside Account Executives supporting both existing clients and new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare documentation for new clients, capturing insurance requirements accurately
  • Obtain renewal terms, research market alternatives, and prepare client presentations
  • Coordinate renewals and mid-term adjustments, keeping systems updated
  • Manage insurer queries — confirming cover, processing policies, chasing documentation
  • Review insurer policy docs for accuracy before client delivery
  • Handle account queries and credit control, escalating where needed
  • Apply regulatory and compliance requirements across client work

What They're Looking For

  • Experience in larger commercial/corporate insurance across multiple classes
  • Cert CII preferred; progress toward Dip CII or ACII a bonus
  • Strong client service and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Comfortable working within a regulated, target-driven framework
  • Solid Microsoft Office proficiency
  • UK work eligibility
