Commercial Finance Broker & BDM

Manchester
Up to £40,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission | OTE £80,000+

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Finance Broker / BDM to join a growing finance brokerage in Manchester. This is a key role for someone with a proven track record of originating and placing commercial finance deals, who is looking to take ownership of their own pipeline while helping to develop and grow a wider lender network.

You will work across development finance, bridging loans, business loans, short-term lending and commercial mortgages, managing deals from initial enquiry through to completion.

The Role

  • Generate new commercial finance business through introducers, direct enquiries and your own network.
  • Build, develop and manage relationships with lenders and introducers.
  • Structure finance solutions based on client requirements and lender appetite.
  • Package and present deals to appropriate lenders.
  • Negotiate competitive terms and manage cases through to completion.
  • Help develop and manage an external lender panel.
  • Take a senior role in the day-to-day running of the brokerage desk.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with accountants, solicitors, property professionals and other introducers.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Commercial Finance Broker, BDM or Lending Specialist with:

  • At least 2–3 years' relevant experience in commercial finance, specialist lending or brokerage.
  • A proven track record of originating and placing deals.
  • Strong knowledge of development finance, bridging, business loans and/or commercial mortgages.
  • Existing lender, introducer or client relationships would be highly advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to structure suitable finance solutions.
  • The confidence to operate as a senior member of the brokerage desk.
  • CeMAP, CeRER or equivalent qualifications are advantageous, with study support available.
