Job Title: Commercial Business Analyst

Location: Leeds (Hybrid)

Why Apply?

This is a Business Analyst position in Leeds for someone who wants commercial impact, not just documentation. You'll work for a fast-growing consultancy that builds AI-driven solutions tied directly to client cost, profitability, and board-level OKRs, sitting alongside Delivery Leads and Forward Deployed AI Engineers. If you're searching for a full-time Business Analyst role where your output becomes the evidence base for major business decisions, this is it, with the flexibility of a hybrid set-up and a genuine path through one of the more interesting corners of consultancy careers today.

Commercial Business Analyst Responsibilities

  • Baselining current-state operations, covering cost, volume, errors, and time, to give every value claim a starting point
  • Building quantified business cases, weighing best case against realistic value with sensitivity analysis on key assumptions
  • Modelling realised, not just potential, value, adjusting for adoption, effectiveness, and integration
  • Advising on build-vs-buy decisions, with clear reasoning behind each call
  • Connecting every solution to client OKRs and board-level metrics, translating operational gains into cost and margin terms
  • Tracking benefits against baseline through pilots, so impact is proven with evidence rather than assumption
  • Contributing to go/adjust/stop decisions, including making the honest case to stop
  • Delivering classic BA work on established engagements: requirements elicitation, process analysis, and documentation
  • Turning engagement evidence into reusable value benchmarks and proof points for future work

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
