Drive sales growth, win new business and develop key foodservice partnerships within a growing food sector organisation.

This is a strategic and commercially focused role offering the opportunity to shape category growth, build key customer relationships, and drive market expansion within a growing organisation.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on business development with strategic account management and wants to make a tangible impact on commercial performance and future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth across wholesale and foodservice accounts through proactive account management and new business development.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers across buying, supply chain, and product development functions.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new customer opportunities, tenders, and market sectors.
  • Manage quotations, specifications, samples, and project launches through to completion.
  • Work cross-functionally with NPD, supply chain, and operational teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, industry events, and exhibitions to build market presence and generate leads.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
