We’re Atom bank
The bank that’s on a mission to make finance faster, simpler and way more human.
We’ve ditched the stuffy banking model to build something that actually works for our customers, whenever and wherever they need us. To make this happen, we’re looking for like-minded people who can help us reach our goals and think differently.
If you’re ready to build the future of banking, we’d love to meet you.
What will your ‘typical’ day look like?
Different that’s for sure…
Atom is the UK’s first app-based bank, and we’re on a mission to redefine what a bank should be. We sit in the sweet spot between high-street banks and specialist lenders - solving the “pain points” others can’t.
As a Commercial BDM for London & South East, you’ll be the face of Atom in the field. You won’t just be chasing leads; you’ll be managing a high-concentration region with a waiting list of brokers ready to be engaged. This is about freeing up capacity, onboarding new partners, and training them accordingly.
Expect to be out on the road for 3 of your 4 day week, delivering presentations, onboarding brokers, and balancing a heavy flow of emails to ensure every application is high-quality and “first time right”. You’ll be part of an energetic team that has grown from £300m to £1.6bn in lending with ambitious plans for continued growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
