Commercial co-founder, Eclipse

UK, remote-friendly | Equity first, path to salary | Start part-time if needed

I'm looking for someone to build Eclipse with me as an owner. You'd get a meaningful stake, an equal voice on direction, and a share of the hard calls.

In short

Eclipse is a B2B content operating system for teams and agencies that need content to shape buyer decisions, not just fill a calendar. It connects client context, research, buyer language, keywords, competitor intelligence, AI visibility, approvals, publishing and performance data into one workflow, so every asset is planned, created, reviewed and improved from evidence. The result is content that helps buyers understand the problem, trust the claims and choose with confidence before sales gets involved.

What Eclipse does

Most content teams now track their AI visibility. Very few can act on what they find. Eclipse connects the whole job in one place. It covers research, briefs, approved articles, publishing to your CMS, and tracking whether you're being cited in AI answers. Teams can also run it through an MCP connector inside the AI tools they already use.

One plan, £795 a month. Customers are founders, marketing leads, content teams at B2B, SaaS companies and agencies in the UK and US.

Where things stand

  • Live product with new website www.getclipse.co.
  • No paid acquisition so far. Customers have come through founder-led sales, outbound and content.
  • A partner and affiliate programme is up and running and still early.
  • I've tested a lot of outbound. I know what doesn't work, and I'd rather fix that with a partner than on my own.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Why now

Buyers now ask AI assistants which tools to shortlist before they ever open Google. Most brands can't see that shift, and the ones that can still struggle to produce content that changes the answer. The category is forming right now, and the companies that own the workflow early will be hard to dislodge.

Who I am

Mark Ridgeon, founder. I've built the product, the brand and the content system, and I've spent years as a fractional COO for founder-led businesses. I'm strong on product, operations and process. Repeatable go-to-market is where I need a partner.

What you'd own

  • Finding the customer. Work out which segment buys fastest and stays longest, then focus on it.
  • The sales motion. Build the pipeline from first touch to signed customer, including trials, demos, pricing and offers.
  • Channels. Decide where to double down across outbound, partnerships, affiliates, communities and paid, using evidence.
  • Retention and expansion. Make sure customers get value in the first 30 days and stay.
  • The numbers. Own CAC, payback, churn and the forecast.
  • Fundraising, if we raise. Work alongside me on investor conversations.

Who you are

  • You've sold or grown a B2B SaaS product from early traction to real revenue, ideally in martech, SEO, content or analytics.
  • You've personally closed deals and built the process around them.
  • You think in pipeline, conversion and payback. You can tell when activity is producing results and when it's just noise.
  • You're comfortable doing the work yourself. There's no team yet.
  • You're UK-based. US market experience is a strong plus.

Fit matters as much as the CV

  • Your strengths fill my gaps, so we cover more of the business between us.
  • You'll tell me when I'm wrong, and I'll do the same.
  • You want to build something that lasts for years.
  • You enjoy building and can keep a sense of humour on the hard weeks.

The deal

  • Equity first. We agree a co-founder stake together, with standard vesting.
  • Flexible start. Full-time, fractional or alongside other work are all fine, as long as Eclipse gets real focus every week.
  • Path to salary. As revenue grows or we raise, the role moves to full time with pay alongside your equity.

How to apply

Either here on LinkedIn or email mark@geteclipse.co with:

  • A few lines about you, plus your LinkedIn.
  • A B2B product you helped grow, and what you personally drove.
  • Where you think Eclipse's next 50 customers come from.
  • What you'd do in your first 30 days.
  • How much time you could give now, and how that might change.

No cover letter needed. Expect a few conversations, and maybe a small project together, so we can both be sure before committing.
