Commercial Co-Founder / Advisor, Out of Home Advertising

Curb Network | London preferred, open to UK/Europe | Equity only

About us

Curb Network exists because we think out of home advertising, as it's been done for decades, is already out of date. It just hasn't caught up with itself yet. Our product is simple: a digital screen fitted to the boxes and bags delivery riders already carry on bikes, e-bikes, mopeds and motorcycles. Riders keep doing their normal deliveries exactly as they do now. The screen just means everyone they pass sees an advert too, all day, instead of one fixed to a wall that people stop noticing after the first week. We've already started planning and self-funding a working prototype, backed by real market and feasibility research into the UK out of home landscape.

Alongside the hardware, we're building a self-serve platform where any business, from a local shop to a global brand, uploads an advert, passes an automated safety check in minutes, and goes live on a rider's screen straight after. It's built to work across borders from day one. In time, a brand in Paris or Tokyo launches a campaign onto our screens in London without ever opening a local office here. Eventually, the reverse works too. We think this is just what out of home advertising looks like from here. The only real question is who builds it first.

The category is already proven. A well-funded competitor runs a similar scooter-based network in London with real brand clients, so we know the demand is there. Our angle is bigger: every type of delivery vehicle, not just scooters, including the bikes and e-bikes that make up most of London's riders, plus the self-serve, cross-border software layer nobody else has built. The numbers back it up. Global digital out of home spend is forecast to hit $39 billion by 2030. UK out of home revenue was up 15% year on year last quarter. Out of home is already beating both TV and digital on purchase intent. We're not chasing a growing market. We're building the layer this whole industry ends up moving onto.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Our problem

Right now, the founding team has product, research, software engineering, technical project management and mechanical engineering covered. What we don't have is someone with a real, established network inside advertising, out of home, digital out of home, or media agencies. We need someone whose name already carries weight in those rooms, someone who can bring this to a brand or agency and have it land because they're the one saying it. That kind of standing can't be built from the inside. It only comes from time genuinely spent in the industry, and it's the single most valuable thing this hire brings.

About the role

This can work as a full, hands-on co-founder role, or as a lighter advisory position with a fixed handful of hours a month, whichever genuinely fits you. Either way, we need real, established relationships with the people who make brand and agency buying decisions, and the credibility to open those doors directly. Just as valuable are the right investor relationships, not any investor, but the kind who back category-defining businesses for the long term, not a fast exit.

We want someone who's scaled a business before, ideally more than one, who will look properly at what we've built and tell us honestly what's working, what isn't, and what needs to change. We're doing the heavy lifting ourselves. We just need someone who's been through this before and won't hold back when something needs saying. And we want someone who doesn't treat the old rules of out of home, fixed spots, fixed prices, fixed markets, as set in stone. Someone who looks at that and sees exactly where there's room to do it differently.

If you come on full time, we want someone hungry for this, willing to wear multiple hats, with a genuine drive to push this toward category-defining, potentially unicorn-level scale. If advisory suits you better, keeping your current job is completely fine, we just need real, consistent input during whatever hours we agree. That means being the kind of person who'll take a call at 10pm on a Tuesday because we've got a huge pitch the next morning and need your read on it, not someone who only has time for this nine to five.

We'd prefer someone based in London so we can work closely in person, though we're open to candidates elsewhere in the UK or Europe for the right fit.

Compensation

Whether you come on as a co-founder or an advisor, there's no fixed salary attached to this, and we're always open to finding the right way to compensate someone as things progress. What matters most to us is finding someone who genuinely believes in this vision. Research into founder and early team commitment keeps landing on the same point, genuine financial skin in the game is one of the strongest signals of how invested someone truly is in a company's long term outcome, far more than a guaranteed pay cheque. That's the belief we're looking for. Compensation is founding equity, with the exact amount agreed once we know it's the right match.
