What you will be doing

The Commercial Compliance Representative is a full-time, hybrid, role based in Coventry. This position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring commercial compliance across customer accounts, contracts, and pallet-pooling operations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing documentation, validating adherence to commercial terms, supporting internal audits, and preparing compliance reports for commercial and operations teams. The role works closely with sales, customer service, and logistics colleagues to resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate records, and address compliance-related queries. The Commercial Compliance Representative also contributes to process improvements, supports training on compliance standards, and helps uphold IPP’s commitment to customer-focused, efficient supply chain services.

What you need

  • Strong customer-focus, including Customer Service and Sales capabilities, to collaborate effectively with clients and internal commercial teams.
  • Ability to conduct thorough Research to validate data, review contracts, and support compliance investigations and reporting.
  • Experience in Training activities, such as supporting or delivering training on commercial and compliance procedures to colleagues.
  • Familiarity with Real Estate or asset-related agreements is beneficial for understanding contract structures and usage terms.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret commercial contracts, policies, and operational data.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills suitable for reporting findings and collaborating across departments.
  • Strong data management experience
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., Excel, Word, and CRM or ERP systems) to manage records and analyze information.
  • Relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or commercial operations; prior experience in compliance or contract administration is an advantage.
