Adecco are pleased to be recruiting for a Commercial Contract Manager to work within the South Yorkshire Police Force.

Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire, with some travel across the force area

Salary: £44,700 - £49,716 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time, Monday to Friday 37 hours per week, Hybrid 2 Days per week in the office is required.

Qualification: MCIPS Level 6 this is a must have requirement for this role

Please note this role will be subject to Police Vetting, you must have resided within the UK for a minimum of 5 Year continually

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage high-value contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to drive collaboration and success.
  • Conduct contract negotiations and oversee the full contract lifecycle, from inception to conclusion.
  • Monitor contract performance, manage risks, and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide expert advice on commercial strategies and best practises to support the organisation's objectives.
  • Prepare and present reports on contract performance and compliance to senior management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Possession of MCIPS Level 6 or equivalent qualification, demonstrating expertise in commercial and procurement practises.
  • Proven experience in contract management within the public sector or a similar environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly.
  • A proactive approach to managing projects and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
