About The Role

Are you a chartered Quantity Surveyor looking to influence some of the UK’s most significant renewable energy projects? Join us and help shape the commercial success of onshore wind, solar and battery storage developments while supporting the transition to a cleaner energy future.

At EDF power solutions, we're shaping an Electric UK and Ireland. Your work will help us turn that ambition into action – delivering renewable energy solutions that will power homes, businesses and communities for generations to come.

As a Contract and Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role in managing the commercial health of major capital projects, providing expert contract management, cost control and commercial advice that helps deliver long-term value and supports our net zero ambitions.

The Opportunity

As a Contract and Commercial Manager (Quantity Surveyor), you'll lead commercial activities across a portfolio of renewable energy projects including onshore wind, battery energy storage and solar developments. You'll work closely with project teams, contractors and internal stakeholders to manage costs, contracts and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role offers flexible working locations, with opportunities to work across our UK sites and offices including London, Durham, Glasgow and Edinburgh. Travel will vary by project and may include visits to UK sites and occasional European travel to meet suppliers and EDF entities.

This is an opportunity to influence complex projects from development through to delivery, building strong supplier relationships, supporting commercial strategy and helping deliver renewable infrastructure that will power future generations. You'll also have the chance to further develop your expertise within a growing and ambitious business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
