About the Role

The Commercial Contract Specialist is responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance and mitigating risk when reviewing and approving commercial contract terms (purchase orders, tenders, sales agreements).
  • Reporting to the Commercial Contracts Manager as part of the Commercial Contracts team in Little Chalfont.
  • This is an onsite role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk assessment & approvals

    • Review commercial contracts to identify non-standard terms/conditions and potential risks.
    • Flag issues to cross-functional teams for review.
  • Contract administration & process management

    • Administer and monitor contract approval workflows, collaborating with:
      • Sales
      • Customer service
      • Legal
      • Finance & controllership
      • Tax (where applicable)
    • Provide contract reporting, status tracking, and support in contract management lifecycle including:
      • Tracking entry into systems
      • Facilitating electronic/signed contract approvals
  • Operational support & training

    • Train colleagues on contract processes as needed.
    • Assist in contracts management system optimization.
  • Process improvement & system work

    • Identify and implement efficiency gains in contracts execution.

Who You Are

  • Experience: College degree + extensive work experience in a similar role.

  • ** Commercial expertise**:

    • Extensive experience managing commercial contract terms and approvals.
    • Proficiency in reviewing purchase orders and sales agreements—especially in high-volume environments.
    • Proven track record in prioritization & risk mitigation during fast-paced decision-making.
  • Communication skills:

    • Exceptional writing and communication, both in clear documentation and cross-team collaboration.
  • Bonus: Experience with Salesforce/SFDC and contract lifecycle management systems.

  • Additional language skills (Spanish or Italian) would be useful.
