Your new company

Our client is a large, complex and highly regarded organisation undergoing an exciting period of transformation and continuous improvement. With a strong focus on governance, compliance and value creation, they are committed to delivering high-quality services whilst maintaining the highest standards of commercial and legal integrity.

As part of the continued development of their Legal, Contracts & Procurement function, an opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused legal professional to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

Your new role

This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of a complex organisation, partnering with stakeholders to deliver pragmatic legal advice, negotiate commercial agreements and support major business initiatives.

The role will focus on drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements, advising stakeholders on legal and contractual risk, and supporting high-value projects from inception through to completion.

Alongside the legal advisory element, you will also support procurement and commercial activities, ensuring purchasing decisions are compliant, commercially robust and aligned with organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.

  • Supporting contract life cycle management and governance activities.
  • Providing legal input on procurement exercises and commercial projects.
  • Leading commercial negotiations with suppliers and external partners.
  • Advising on dispute resolution and contractual issues.
  • Contributing to the development of policies, procedures and contract templates.
  • Delivering training and guidance on contractual and commercial matters.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
