Commercial Contracts Manager
Full Time Perm Role | Fully Remote
We are looking for a Commercial Contracts Manager to own our contract process end to end, across both UK and US commercial terms. You'll redline and negotiate external client contracts directly, working closely with procurement teams and commercial legal teams on the other side. Once a deal is signed, you'll manage what happens next, tracking obligations, warranties, renewal and expiry dates, and flagging risk before it becomes a problem.
You don't need to be a qualified lawyer, though a background as a commercial contracts lawyer would suit this well. We retain external counsel for genuinely high-risk legal matters and want to keep it that way. A big part of this role is judgement, knowing what you can redline and close yourself, and what needs a lawyer's eye. If you've built the confidence to push commercial terms hard and know where your line sits, it might be.

What you will do
- Redline and negotiate external client contracts across UK and US commercial terms.
- Work directly with procurement and commercial legal teams to land terms.
- Own the post-signature lifecycle: risk tracking, warranty periods, renewal dates, obligations owed on both sides.
- Decide what stays with you and what goes to our retained lawyers, and make that call reliably.
What we are looking for
- 3 to 5 years or more redlining and negotiating commercial contracts. Must have knowledge across UK and US markets.
- Experience working opposite procurement and commercial legal teams.
- A track record managing contracts after signing, not just getting them to signature.
- Good instincts on legal risk. How you'd draw the line between what you'd handle and what you'd send to counsel.
- A commercial contracts lawyer background is welcome but not required.
