Job Title: Commercial Coordinator
Location: Playsport Arena, East Kilbride G74 4GT
Position: Full Time (5 out of 7 days)
The Caledonia Gladiators are Scotland’s professional basketball team competing in the Super League Basketball. With both Men’s and Women’s teams, we are committed to excellence on and off the court and to growing the sport across Scotland.
The Role
We are looking for an energetic, organised and proactive Commercial Coordinator to support the day-to-day delivery of the club's commercial activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in being highly organised and enjoys building relationships with people. The successful candidate will provide essential support across sponsorship, ticketing, Gameday and commercial operations, helping ensure projects, partnerships and activations are delivered to a high standard.
This role is less about previous industry experience and more about attitude. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys taking ownership of tasks, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, and consistently looks for ways to support colleagues and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship & Partnership Support
- Support the Head of Commercial in the day-to-day management and delivery of commercial partnerships.
- Coordinate sponsor activations and ensure all partnership commitments are delivered accurately and on time.
- Maintain up-to-date sponsor records, contact databases, activation schedules and partnership trackers.
- Monitor partnership activity and proactively flag upcoming deadlines or actions required.
- Support the Head of Commercial with the preparation of sponsorship proposals, contracts, invoices, renewal materials and partner reports.
- Support relationship management with existing partners and assist with renewal and upselling opportunities.
- Conduct research on prospective sponsors and partnership opportunities.

Sales & Ticketing
- Administer the club's ticketing platform, ensuring all games, events and products are set up accurately.
- Produce regular ticket sales reports and provide audience insights to support commercial decision making.
- Support group sales initiatives with schools, clubs, businesses and community organisations.
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers and groups to drive attendance and bookings.
- Assist with fan enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Help deliver promotional campaigns designed to increase ticket sales and attendance.
Commercial Administration & Organisation
- Maintain accurate records across all commercial activity.
- Keep partnership trackers, sales pipelines and contact databases up to date.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas and record actions where required.
- Ensure key documents, contracts and commercial information are organised and accessible.
- Support reporting requirements across sponsorship, ticketing and commercial performance.
- Take ownership of administrative tasks and proactively identify areas where processes can be improved.
- Act as an organised central point of coordination across commercial projects.
- Support the planning and delivery of Game Changers Networking, Sponsor Events.
- Managing guest lists, invitations, attendee communications and event administration.
- Coordinate event materials, presentations, signage and supporting collateral.
- Assist with venue preparation and on-the-day event delivery.
- Ensure guests, partners and stakeholders receive a professional and welcoming experience.

Marketing & Campaign Coordination
- Support the coordination and delivery of marketing campaigns relating to ticketing, events and partnerships.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure commercial campaigns are delivered on schedule.
- Assist with email campaigns, newsletters and promotional communications.
- Coordinate requests for sponsorship assets, graphics and marketing materials.
- Support gameday and campaign activity where required.
Gameday Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of commercial operations on gamedays.
- Assist with partner activations, hospitality experiences and VIP guest management.
- Ensure sponsor branding, signage and activation areas are delivered to agreed standards.
- Act as a professional and welcoming point of contact for partners, guests and supporters.
