Commercial Counsel

Global operator in the logistics sector looking for a Commercial Counsel to join their close-knit legal team on an initial six month basis, with the likelihood of extension. The role will be based in Central London on a hybrid basis, with two days per week required in the office. You must be available to start by the end of November.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial matters, including supplier contracts, client T&Cs, NDAs, and financing agreements.
  • Preparing board and shareholder resolutions, as well as advising on corporate governance matters.
  • Other legal advisory work covering privacy, employment law, and small-scale disputes.
  • Managing relationships with external counsel.
  • Supporting on ad-hoc M&A projects.

Requirements

The business believes that the role is best suited to a UK qualified lawyer (or admitted overseas with UK-based experience) with 4-12 years' PQE, although applications from all levels will be considered on merit. Please note the wide salary range reflects the broad PQE-based approach to the search. You must possess outstanding commercial contracts drafting/negotiation experience.
