About the Opportunity
A Global Data Storage Company is looking for a Lawyer with 7+ years' experience for a 3 month engagement starting as soon as possible.
The company is looking for an experienced transactional attorney to provide parental leave coverage for the Senior Counsel responsible for transactional and go-to-market legal support across the APJ region. The attorney will support a diverse portfolio spanning markets including India, Japan, Singapore/ASEAN, and Australia and work closely with company's global transactions team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide transactional support across the APJ region, including NDAs, Evaluation Agreements, Capacity Commitments, non-standard End User Agreements, Subscription/Product Schedules, Channel Agreements, and related commercial matters.
- Draft and negotiate routine commercial agreements, amendments, and partner-related documentation using company's existing templates and playbooks.
- Provide practical GTM guidance to regional sales stakeholders on commercial and contractual matters.
- Manage a high-volume, multi-jurisdictional transactional workload and coordinate matter intake and workflow.
- Serve as a resource to the regional sales organization regarding existing company policies, templates, products, and contracting processes.
- Maintain appropriate contract and CLM records and provide a structured handoff of open matters at the conclusion of the engagement.

Ideal Background:
- Significant technology transactions experience involving hardware, software, SaaS, and/or cloud agreements.
- Experience supporting multiple APJ jurisdictions strongly preferred.
- Comfortable independently handling day-to-day commercial matters while escalating high-value, non-standard, or precedent-setting issues as appropriate.
Key Details
- Location: On-Site, Staines, UK
- Schedule: Full-time
- Duration: 3 month engagement
- Compensation: $100 - $115 per hour
Required:
- Candidates must be able to work full-time.
- The company has a preference for candidates who can be onsite in Staines, UK; however will consider fully remote candidates.
- Company's preferred pricing model is hourly with a budget of $100 - $115 USD/hour.
- The work will be performed as the client's direct independent contractor/outside counsel.
- Invoices will be submitted through the Priori platform and are payable per the client’s standard payment terms.
- Please note that the Priori platform requires dollar-denominated billing & payments. You should state your bid in USD, and account for any potential taxes and exchange rate fluctuations when doing so; your rate will be set at the start of the engagement and will not fluctuate month to month.
- Following payment, we use a trusted transfer partner to transfer your legal fee component to your local bank account. Transfers may be subject to fees imposed by our transfer partner or your bank, including FX fees, processing fees, or other charges depending on the specific network used to effect the transfer. We encourage you to account and hedge for all potential fees (including tax implications) and any FX / exchange rate risk you may encounter when quoting your rate to clients.
