Commercial Data Analyst

We are looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to join our EMEAI Commercial Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional to play a key role in delivering commercial reporting, analytics, and actionable insights across the region.
Working within the Commercial Analytics team, you will help ensure commercial teams have access to accurate, relevant, and easy-to-use data that supports performance, planning, and strategic decision-making. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Commercial Operations, and Global Analytics teams to identify reporting needs, improve data quality, and develop dashboards and reporting solutions that drive business impact.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop, maintain, and improve commercial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Analyse commercial data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and actionable insights.
- Partner with regional commercial teams to understand business needs and reporting requirements.
- Translate business questions into meaningful analytics and reporting solutions.
- Identify and investigate data quality issues across multiple commercial data sources.
- Support the development of interim and long-term reporting and analytics solutions.
- Collaborate with global analytics teams to ensure EMEAI reporting requirements are represented in broader business initiatives.
- Support testing, implementation, and adoption of new reporting tools and dashboards.
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to support key business priorities and commercial decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvements in reporting processes, data accessibility, and self-service analytics capabilities.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years' experience in a business analytics, commercial operations, data analytics, or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Experience using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable
- SQL knowledge and experience querying data.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Experience with ERP platforms including Dynamics 365, Oracle, or SAP.
- Understanding of commercial processes, sales reporting, and business performance metrics.
- Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
- Exposure to project management or business analysis methodologies.
- Experience within life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, or technology-driven organisations.
