Role Description

The Commercial Director is a full-time, hybrid role based in London, responsible for leading Insilicare’s commercial strategy and execution. This role oversees revenue growth, market development, and customer acquisition across key life sciences segments, including medical affairs, HEOR, market access, and commercial teams.

  • Developing and implementing business plans
  • Building and managing commercial partnerships
  • Leading sales initiatives
  • Optimizing pricing and go-to-market strategies

The Commercial Director will manage and mentor a cross-functional commercial team, set performance targets, and ensure alignment with product, marketing, and operations. The role also involves:

  • Monitoring market trends
  • Refining value propositions
  • Representing Insilicare in client meetings, industry events, and strategic negotiations

Qualifications

  • Strong Commercial Management and Business Planning skills, with proven experience developing and executing growth strategies.
  • Robust Analytical Skills to interpret complex data, market insights, and performance metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including leading, coaching, and scaling high-performing commercial teams.
  • Track record of success in Sales, particularly in B2B technology, healthcare, or life sciences environments.
  • Experience in the life sciences or health technology sector, ideally with exposure to real-world evidence, HEOR, or market access.
  • Experience with AI and Machine Learning use cases within the healthcare ecosystem is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior customer and partner audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with comfort operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an advantage.
