Role: Commercial Director
Package: Attractive salary plus performance-related package
Location: London, principally within the M25, with a strong Central London focus
We are seeking a commercially driven new-business leader to expand our client’s established London presence. This is a sales-led, market-facing opportunity within a growing specialist cleaning and venue-services business with a strong track record in complex, high-footfall environments. It will suit someone who thrives on opening doors, building senior relationships, and personally converting opportunities into profitable contract wins.
The successful candidate will focus on building and converting a pipeline where the client’s proven operating model offers a genuine competitive advantage.
Responsibilities
- Originating new opportunities before they become formal tenders
- Developing relationships with senior decision makers
- Building and managing a high-quality pipeline of named London accounts
- Winning profitable, strategically aligned contracts that increase geographic density and create cross-selling opportunities
- Mapping incumbents, contract cycles, decision makers, and routes to introduction
- Working with internal teams on pricing, proposals, operational solutions, and mobilisation

Candidate Requirements
- A proven record of winning new B2B business in outsourced services, catering, cleaning, FM, specialist hygiene, security, or another people-intensive service environment
- A strong London network, ideally across cultural and heritage venues, theatres, entertainment destinations, hospitality, high-profile retail outlets, major educational establishments, hospitals, and healthcare
- Evidence of personally originating, developing, and closing significant contracts
- Commercial strength in pricing, margin, and opportunity qualification
- Credibility with operational, facilities, procurement, and C-suite stakeholders
- A structured approach to account planning and CRM, combined with the energy to spend significant time face-to-face with prospects
- An entrepreneurial, energetic, and persistent approach, with the ambition and discipline to build and convert a multimillion-pound annual pipeline
