Commercial Director
Location: South West (UK)
Package: Circa £130k–£160k (Negotiable) + Significant Bonus + Benefits + Options
The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Commercial Director to join a fast-growing FMCG business with established retailer relationships and a diverse product portfolio across the UK and Europe. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the commercial strategy that drives sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
The Role
- Develop and execute a comprehensive revenue growth strategy across UK and EU markets.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, new market opportunities, and category growth initiatives.
- Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial strategies to optimise profitability.
- Lead data-driven commercial initiatives to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Establish and refine outbound sales strategies to secure high-value retail deals.
- Hold full accountability for revenue performance, leading and developing the sales organisation to deliver ambitious growth targets.
- Align sales, marketing, and product functions to ensure a cohesive, customer-focused commercial approach.

Experience Required
- FMCG Expertise - Deep understanding of FMCG/retail dynamics and a proven ability to build strategic partnerships with major UK and EU customers.
- Demonstrated history of leading an SME through accelerated growth (e.g., £20m to £80m turnover).
- Market Share & Turnover Growth - Evidence of growing market share and increasing turnover in competitive retail environments.
- A data-driven leader with strategic thinking, strong execution capabilities, and a focus on customer relationships.
