Street Food Holdings — Edinburgh Street Food, Manchester Street Food and beyond

About us

Street Food Holdings owns Edinburgh Street Food and Manchester Street Food. Our markets have created a third space between pubs and restaurants: lively, highly accessible, design-led venues with global cuisines, catering to all dietary requirements, occasions and tastes. We position ourselves as an authentic street food experience with a high service model, retaining the zeitgeist of street food with compelling design, local supply chains, regular events and evolving menus.

Edinburgh Street Food generated gross site revenue of £10.7m in FY26, with 17% sales growth year on year. It has 650 covers, hosts 200+ events a year, and was a finalist for Newcomer of the Year at the Scotsman Scran Awards and the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards.

Manchester Street Food opens in Q2 2027, three minutes’ walk from Manchester Piccadilly: 680 covers, a south-facing terrace, a mini-cinema, private hire space, and food service for the 192-apartment hotel above. It is the next step in rolling out city-centre street food markets across the UK.

The role

We’re looking for a Commercial Director to own profitable revenue growth across the Group. You’ll join the board and take the number: more customers, coming more often, spending more, in every square foot and every trading hour we have.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Your first priorities:

  • Maximise Edinburgh — grow customers, frequency and spend; build events, B2B and private-hire revenue; fill the quiet periods.
  • Launch Manchester & Future Venues — build the customer, corporate, events and partnership pipeline for our 680-cover venue, including private hire, the mini-cinema and ticketed events, and get it to maturity fast.
  • Build a model that scales — the systems, propositions and KPIs we can roll out to every new site.
  • Open new revenue streams — private hire, ticketed events, delivery, outside catering, sponsorship, brand activations, partnerships, and the loyalty app, plus ideas we haven’t had yet.

What you’ll do

  • Own the Group commercial strategy, revenue plan and targets, working alongside the CEO, Operations Director and CFO.
  • Lead B2B, corporate, events, private hire and partnerships.
  • Direct marketing, CRM and loyalty towards measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Drive off-peak and seasonal demand and extend revenue-generating hours.
  • Set up clear commercial KPIs and dashboards, and run a live pipeline of opportunities.
  • Shape new venues so they’re designed around commercial performance from day one.

About you

  • You’ve owned a revenue and profit number and can show what you did to move it.
  • You’ve driven revenue across several channels — consumer, B2B, events, partnerships.
  • You’re entrepreneurial: you spot opportunities and turn them into profitable propositions.
  • You’re data-driven, but you also get into the detail and make things happen yourself.
  • You thrive in a fast-growing, founder-led business.
  • Experience in hospitality, leisure, food and drink, entertainment, events, retail or consumer brands is a strong advantage.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
