Location: London
An exciting new hospitality business is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Commercial Director to lead the commercial strategy and support the growth of the business.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with a strong track record across sales, partnerships, business development and commercial growth, who can build new revenue streams and develop strategic relationships within the hospitality and wider consumer landscape.
The Role
Reporting to the senior leadership team, the Commercial Director will develop and execute the company's commercial strategy, ensuring it is aligned with the wider business objectives and growth plans.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy in line with overall business objectives
- Lead and develop the sales and commercial teams to achieve revenue and margin targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships and revenue streams
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders
- Develop commercial partnerships that support the growth and profile of the business
- Oversee contract negotiations, commercial agreements and pricing strategies
- Ensure commercial decisions balance revenue growth, profitability and competitiveness
- Work closely with procurement, operations and delivery teams to ensure high-quality client outcomes
- Provide commercial insight, forecasting and performance analysis to the executive leadership team
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and the wider supplier landscape to identify opportunities and risks
- Develop and maintain a strong commercial pipeline
- Support the wider leadership team with strategic business planning and growth initiatives

About You
We are looking for a commercially focused senior leader with a proven track record of developing revenue, partnerships and business opportunities.
You Will Ideally Have
- Significant experience in a senior commercial, sales or business development role
- Strong experience within hospitality, food & beverage, consumer or an adjacent sector
- A proven track record of generating new business and developing strategic partnerships
- Strong commercial acumen, with a clear understanding of revenue, margin, pricing and profitability
- Experience leading and developing commercial or sales teams
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Strong understanding of market trends, competitors and commercial opportunities
- The ability to develop and manage a strategic pipeline
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- An entrepreneurial and proactive approach, with the ability to operate in a growing and evolving business
