Overview
We have an excellent and rare opportunity for a senior-level Commercial leader to drive and own the regional commercial plan for Pragmatic Semiconductor and work across the business to turn opportunities into repeat, scalable revenue. Reporting to the SVP Sales, Business Development and Product Management, this is a critical role with responsibility for leading our sales and business development across Europe, with responsibility for revenue, order intake and account growth across both IDM and Foundry.
You will drive adoption of standard FlexIC products - including NFC and RFID solutions - through brands and ecosystem partners. You will also develop Foundry opportunities with customers designing custom integrated circuits, converting technical engagements into funded development programmes, design wins and wafer orders.
We are looking for experienced Commercial leaders who can operate with both the independence to drive regional growth, as well as someone who can collaborate highly effective across the business.
The successful candidate will ideally be based in Europe, or based in the UK with significant international travel.
Key responsibilities
Short term:
- Establish the European sales plan, prioritising markets, accounts and partners across IDM and Foundry, with clear targets and account ownership
- Build executive and technical relationships. Qualify customer needs, commercial potential, funding and decision processes for each opportunity
Medium term:
- IDM: work with brands, inlay manufacturers, converters and solution partners to move product evaluations and qualification into volume orders
- Foundry: coordinate technical and commercial engagement from feasibility and design enablement through funded development, tape-out and production wafer orders
- Negotiate pricing, development fees, supply agreements and commercial terms within approval limits. Align commitments with technical readiness and capacity

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
