The Role

They are seeking a Commercial Director with Financial Services focus to join the leadership board and play a pivotal role in scaling the business. This is a senior commercial leadership role, responsible for driving client growth, expanding market presence, and shaping high-value propositions across priority sectors. The Commercial Director will operate as a front-line growth leader—originating, shaping, and closing complex consulting engagements, while building long-term client relationships and strengthening their position as a trusted partner.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Revenue Growth

  • Own and deliver revenue growth targets
  • Originate, shape, and close high-value consulting engagements
  • Build a strong pipeline aligned to their offerings
  • Identify new routes to market and partnerships

Client Leadership

  • Develop and maintain C-suite relationships
  • Act as a trusted advisor on transformation and AI
  • Lead strategic conversations translating into commercial outcomes

Proposition Development

  • Define and evolve market-facing propositions
  • Shape sector-specific offerings for Financial Services
  • Ensure propositions are commercially viable and differentiated

Leadership & Governance

  • Contribute to the leadership board
  • Support go-to-market strategy and sector positioning
  • Mentor senior consultants

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • Senior consulting leader (Director/Partner level) who is actively originating new clients and selling consulting services
  • Proven revenue generation and account growth with recent quantifiable revenue and origination
  • Experience delivering complex transformation programmes
  • Sector expertise in Financial Services including UK Financial Services
