Overview

Epsilon is seeking a highly commercial and strategic Commercial Director (FP&A) to partner with the Epsilon UK leadership team and drive business performance across the UK business and product portfolio.

This role goes beyond traditional financial planning and reporting. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, helping shape strategy, influence key decisions, identify growth opportunities, and improve profitability through insightful financial analysis and strong business partnership.

A critical aspect of the role is the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into compelling business narratives, using insights and storytelling to drive action, alignment, and better decision-making across the organisation.

What You’ll Achieve

You will become the person business leaders turn to when they need clarity, challenge, or a recommendation. Your insight will shape decisions, improve performance, and help Epsilon UK deliver sustainable, profitable growth. Finance is seen not just as a reporting function, but as a valued partner to the business.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead FP&A business partner to the UK Leadership Team, providing strategic financial insight and commercial challenge.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for Epsilon UK.
  • Partner with wider Publicis UK Finance organisation to deliver on all monthly and periodic reporting and submission deadlines.
  • Deliver clear performance reporting, variance analysis, and actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes.
  • Partner with Product, Commercial, Client and Operational leaders to evaluate growth opportunities, pricing strategies, and profitability initiatives.
  • Develop financial models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Translate data and financial performance into compelling business stories that influence stakeholders and drive action.
  • Develop and track key business KPIs, ensuring leaders have clear visibility of performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Lead and develop the FP&A team while driving continuous improvement, automation, and reporting excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
