Introduction
Nigel Wright Group is delighted to be partnering with Batt Cables on the appointment of a Commercial Director, a critical leadership role at a transformative point in the company's journey.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the CEO, the Commercial Director will lead the UK & Ireland commercial organisation, driving growth, improving performance and building the structure, capability and leadership required for the next phase of expansion.
The Business
Batt Cables is a long-established specialist serving the infrastructure, construction, renewables, telecommunications and industrial sectors. Following recent acquisition by COFICAB Group, the business is investing in growth, capability and commercial transformation while building on its strong market reputation.

The Role
You will develop and execute the commercial strategy, lead a geographically dispersed team, improve sales effectiveness, strengthen key customer relationships and create a more data-driven, performance-focused culture. A key part of the role will be building closer alignment across commercial, operational and supply chain functions to support sustainable growth.
What We're Looking For
An experienced Commercial Director or Sales Director with a track record of leading multi-site, multi-channel teams through growth and change. You will be a credible leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has experience driving commercial performance, accountability and organisational development.

Experience within electrical distribution, technical distribution, industrial products, construction products or related B2B markets would be advantageous.
