Global Commercial Director, Radiology and Pathology Solutions
Physician Specialist Solutions (PSS) | Global Remote (ET or CET) | Director Level | Full-Time
Do you want to lead the commercial strategy for a global portfolio of clinical decision support tools that empower clinicians to make faster, more confident diagnostic decisions?
About Our Team
Physician Specialist Solutions (PSS) is Elsevier’s portfolio of specialist clinical tools for radiology and pathology. This evolving ecosystem incorporates:
-
Point-of-care decision support:
- STATdx (radiology)
- ExpertPath (pathology)
- ImmunoQuery (pathology)
-
Curriculum-based education and training for specialists and early-career physicians:
- RADPrimer (radiology)
- PATHPrimer (pathology)
Used across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, these tools support accurate diagnostic decision-making and specialist expertise development. Our commercial team is dedicated to protecting and expanding this global portfolio, collaborating closely with Product, Content, Marketing, Sales, and Account Management to design and execute measurable go-to-market strategies that drive customer value.
About the Role
As PSS Global Commercial Director, you’ll report to the Senior Director, Specialist Solutions and take ownership of the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for a high-value, global recurring revenue portfolio. This is a strategic yet hands-on role that combines strategic leadership, cross-functional execution, and commercial authority—ensuring growth through renewals, new business, pricing innovation, and strategic partnerships that embed content into clinical workflows. Success drives revenue protection and growth, expands sales channels, enhances deal velocity and size, and cements Elsevier’s position as a leader in specialist clinical decision support.
What You’ll Do
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
- Develop annual PSS GTM strategy across market segmentation, targeting, positioning, sales plays, pricing, and multi-region packaging for all products.
- Partner with customers to identify and cultivate high-impact, workflow-embedded technology partnerships that enhance adoption and retention rates.
- Design scalable offerings (e.g., specialist bundles, cross-sell packages) to increase deal value, expand customer reach, and drive B2B/B2C growth—including early loyalty-building for resident trainees and early-career clinicians.
- Build and deploy targeted campaigns to bolster customer engagement, including retention strategies for at-risk accounts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
