Commercial Director / VP Sales (Player-Coach) - SaaS Marketing Tech
c. £100k base + x2 OTE
Hybrid role based in central London x3 days a week
This company are the challenger brand on the market!
The platform helps create user generated content which powers new & existing customer acquisition & generates more customer trust.
It's data focused and also provides real time customer insight.
They have brought on new leadership who have re-imagined and energised this company, and they've just had their best ever year.
This is a brand new role leading the UK sales team, reporting directly into the CRO.

The Role
Player-coach - mostly leading the team, with some personal selling
- Bring sales pods together under one leader and set the rhythm, standards & culture
- Own the pipeline, the forecast and the number
- Recruit, coach and develop - room to reshape and grow the team
- Build and deliver the annual commercial plan
- Selling into retail, ecommerce, travel & consumer brands
Requirements
- You must come from a SaaS sales leadership role, ideally from martech, adtech or affiliate!
- You've turned around or accelerated a sales team - and can show the numbers
- You know your SaaS metrics inside out - pipeline, conversion, ACV, MRR/ARR
- You can explain exactly how your current team's funnel works, what's working, what isn't and what you did about it
- Experience selling into retail, travel or finance (travel especially!)
- Positive, high energy and leads from the front
- Still happy to roll your sleeves up and close deals yourself
- Be able to show longevity in previous roles
- Can come into the London office 3 days per week
