Lead the Future of Workforce Services at Savills
Savills is seeking an exceptional Commercial Director to lead our Workforce+ business and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of specialist services across our Property Management platform.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a commercially astute and operationally accomplished leader who thrives on building businesses, developing people, and driving innovation at scale. Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of a business supporting approximately 1,600 colleagues across cleaning, security, and front-of-house services, while helping strengthen the wider specialist services offering that differentiates Savills in the market.
The Opportunity
As Commercial Director, you will hold full accountability for the Workforce+ profit and loss, overseeing revenue growth, profitability, service excellence, and operational performance. Beyond the day-to-day leadership of a large-scale workforce operation, you will be responsible for creating the commercial platforms, standards, and infrastructure that support sustainable growth across our specialist service lines.
You will work closely with surveyors, client relationship managers, and operational leaders across the business, ensuring Workforce+ remains the partner of choice for clients seeking best-in-class service delivery. You will also play a key role in developing strategic partnerships with service providers, creating collaborative relationships that deliver greater value, resilience, and innovation for our clients.

What You'll Be Doing
- Leading a large, geographically dispersed workforce services business with full commercial and operational accountability.
- Owning and managing a substantial P&L, driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and commercial performance.
- Developing and implementing robust pricing strategies and commercial models.
- Building high-performing leadership teams and creating a culture of accountability, development, and excellence.
- Identifying opportunities to expand specialist services within existing client portfolios.
- Supporting business development activity, proposal creation, and client engagement at senior levels.
- Driving innovation across workforce management, technology, systems, and service delivery.
- Creating frameworks, tools, and standards that improve consistency, efficiency, and performance.
- Developing strategic supplier partnerships that strengthen service quality and reduce operating costs.
About You
We're looking for a proven senior leader with experience operating at scale within facilities management, workforce services, technical consultancy, or a related service-led environment.
You will bring:
- Significant experience leading large operational or commercial functions.
- Demonstrable ownership of a major P&L, ideally within a business generating £50m+ revenue and/or managing a large workforce.
- Exceptional commercial acumen with strong pricing, financial modelling, and margin management capabilities.
- A track record of driving transformation, innovation, and operational improvement.
- Experience building strong supplier and stakeholder relationships that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- The credibility to influence senior stakeholders and lead through both direct management and collaboration.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling vision and inspire confidence with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Strong understanding of people leadership, talent development, and organisational growth.
