UK Commercial Director - Food Industry

Location: Greater London

Introduction

Henderson Brown is proud to be partnering with a leading chilled food manufacturing business in their search for a new member of their UK Senior Leadership Team.

Our client has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional service and premium-quality products to a diverse range of customers across international markets.

Overview

This is a high-profile and demanding role within a well-established and professional organisation with extensive supply routes across Europe and beyond.

We’re seeking a commercially astute and inspirational leader, someone who not only excels in driving sales but also has the capability to energise and grow a diverse team within the UK market. Due to the strategic nature of this position, the ideal candidate must have an in-depth understanding of chilled food and short shelf-life products. First-rate commercial acumen is a given, but what sets the right individual apart is their passion, energy, and ability to manage existing customer relationships while identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
