Commercial Director

London | Six-Figure Salary + Bonus + Executive Benefits

Build a Brand. Shape the Future. Leave Your Legacy.

This is not your typical Commercial Director role.

We're exclusively partnering with an ambitious, founder-led consumer brand that's on the cusp of significant UK retail expansion. With a fantastic product, growing consumer demand, and major ambitions, the business is now looking for an exceptional Commercial Director to help take the brand from challenger status to household name.

If you've successfully opened doors with major retailers, built lasting buyer relationships, and know what it takes to scale an FMCG brand, this is a rare opportunity to become one of the driving forces behind an exciting growth story.

The Opportunity

Working directly alongside the Founders, you'll take ownership of the UK commercial strategy while remaining fully hands-on in execution.

From securing national retail listings and negotiating commercial agreements to developing key accounts and identifying new routes to market, you'll play a pivotal role in accelerating the brand's growth across the UK.

This is a role for someone who loves winning new business, thrives on building relationships, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to make things happen.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute the UK retail growth strategy.
  • Secure new national retail listings across grocery, convenience, specialist retail, health & wellness, and e-commerce.
  • Build and leverage relationships with buyers and key decision-makers.
  • Lead retailer presentations, commercial negotiations, and listing submissions.
  • Own the full sales journey from prospecting through to launch and ongoing account management.

  • Build a high-value commercial pipeline and identify new market opportunities.
  • Partner closely with the Founder to help shape the next stage of the company's growth.

We're Looking For

You'll be an ambitious commercial leader with a proven track record of scaling FMCG brands within UK retail.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience securing listings with major UK retailers.
  • Existing relationships with buyers across grocery, convenience, specialist retail, health & wellness, or foodservice.

  • Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the energy to thrive in a fast-growing founder-led business.
  • A passion for building brands rather than simply managing accounts.
