Job Details

As a Commercial Disputes Solicitor NQ-0-4 in Manchester, you'll work on resolving complex legal disputes for clients, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and effectively. This role is key in helping the legal team deliver high-quality services within the professional services industry.

Client Details

Our client is a boutique sports law firm with a high profile football club client base. You will be dealing with complex work assisting some of the best lawyers in their field. Due to continued expansion they are looking for a Commercial Disputes Solicitor NQ-0-4 to join their Manchester team.

Description

As a Commercial Disputes Solicitor NQ-0-4 your duties will include:

  • Working within an existing team of specialist contentious and regulatory lawyers in a market-leading firm in the sports and media sectors;
  • Advising clubs, players, athletes and agents in disputes before a variety of sporting dispute resolution forums, including FA Rule K arbitrations, FA Regulatory Commissions, Premier League and EFL arbitrations / investigations, UEFA disciplinary bodies, the FIFA Football Tribunal and the Court of Arbitration for Sport;
  • Advising on High Court and other commercial litigation, including media and social media disputes;
  • Advising on regulatory and disciplinary investigations including 'on and off' field misconduct, anti-doping cases and other integrity related issues;
  • Actively participating in business development, driving new firm initiatives and helping to grow and shape the firm's disputes work with the existing team.

Profile
